Bioenergy and Sustainable Technology Graduate Certificate
The graduate certificate program in Bioenergy and Sustainable Technology (BST) has been developed to support continuing education needs of the workforce in industries related to biofuels, renewable products and associated technologies. The program is also intended to benefit traditional graduate programs through additional course availability in specialized disciplines.
The certificate is composed of 15 credit hours of graduate course work grouped under three categories:
- Feedstocks: devoted to issues of production and handling of feedstock material for renewable industries.
- Conversions: discipline involving science and engineering to convert feedstocks to renewable products.
- Sustainability: includes courses related to the economic viability and environmental and sociological impacts of enterprises involving renewable resources.
