May's Pete's Pet Posse Pup of the Month

May's Pete's Pet Posse Pup of the Month

Our May Pete's Pet Posse Tulsa's Pup of the Month is Augustus, a little pug who is known for his lovable, grumpy face.

Born a Poke, Forever a Poke

Augustus, who also goes by "Gus" was born a poke and both of his humans are OSU alumni! Gus dreamed of becoming a member of Pete's Pet Posse since he was a puppy.

He accomplished his dream last year in 2018 when he became an official P3T therapy dog. He also just celebrated his third birthday, making for quite an exciting year!

Small Pup, Big Personality

Despite his grumpy face, Gus loves visiting OSU-Tulsa campus.

Don't let his calm demeanor fool you, he is actually quite the attention lover and his personality really comes out when his mom, Kelsey helps him show off his tricks.

Gus greets visitors to the 2nd floor of Administration Hall and always makes a trip to Student Services in North Hall 130 to visit students and staff. He also enjoys visiting faculty on the 3rd floor of North Hall.

Dress to Impress

Gus takes special occasions and his job as a P3T therapy dog very seriously and often has a coordinating bow tie or outfit.

This past year he brought the holiday cheer to the Academic Affairs Christmas Party. Then in March, he sported his best orange bow tie to review resumes with Career Services.

Snack, Nap, Relax

When not at work, Gus enjoys watching TV (especially sports!) on the couch and spending time with his humans. Gus' other favorite hobbies are napping in laps and eating snacks.

You can read more about Augustus' story on his Pete's Pet Posse Tulsa bio.
