Ready, Set, (Fall) Graduate!

If this fall semester is your last, there may be a few things you need to know before you're set to graduate. We're here to walk you through it.

So you’re on your last semester…

You’re studying for your last finals week…your FINAL finals.

That can only mean one thing…you’re about to graduate!

We host an OSU-Tulsa Graduation Ceremony in the spring, but if you’re ready to walk across the stage right now you can participate in the Oklahoma State Fall Graduation and Commencement Ceremony in Stillwater.

First, you'll need to apply.

Graduation applications will be accepted until the Friday of finals week for the semester you intend to earn your degree.

Follow the steps below to apply to graduate

  1. Login to the my.okstate.edu portal.
  2. Click on the Self Service icon.
  3. From the Student tab, select Student Profile.
  4. Select Apply to Graduate (From the Additional Links section)
  5. Follow the instructions, complete all information requested and submit.

Then, order your cap and gown.

Caps, gowns and regalia are available for purchase online at shopokstate.com. You can have them delivered to the North Hall Information Center for on-campus pickup. Not sure what size gown you need? The North Hall Information Center has all available sizes for you to try before you buy!

Getting down to the wire? Caps and gowns do not need to be reserved in advance and will be readily available for purchase at the University Store in the Oklahoma State Student Union in Stillwater until the day of graduation.

Check the schedule to sure you show up at the right time.

Oklahoma State fall commencement ceremonies will be held at the Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.

Finally, congratulate yourself! You’re so close to the finish line!

And if you’d rather wait until spring and graduate at the OSU-Tulsa ceremony, check the OSU-Tulsa Graduation Ceremony info page for updates or contact Travis McBride at travis.mcbride@okstate.edu.
