Monday, Oct. 1 is the first day you can submit your 2020-21 FAFSA, so file early for the best chance of getting available financial aid and scholarships.
Reasons to submit your FAFSA early:
- To be considered for federal financial aid programs which have limited funds, such as OTAG, SEOG and work-study. Must show financial need to quality.
- To increase chances of getting available scholarships at OSU-Tulsa. Some scholarships require that you submit the FAFSA. Remember to submit it by Feb. 1 for scholarship consideration for the 2019-20 academic year.
- To be able to take out low-interest student loans. Whether you need them or want the option to have loans available as a backup plan, your FAFSA is the starting point for this process.
