Join us for an exciting collaboration between two of Tulsa’s most treasured artists: James Shrader, Executive Chef of the Palace Café, and Joy Harjo, U.S. Poet Laureate. This fundraising event will feature a menu of five courses inspired by five poems.

Joy Harjo, Poet Laureate of the United States, is a member of the Mvskoke Nation and multi-talented author, musician and mentor. She has produced nine books of poetry and several plays, children’s books, and jazz albums.
Chef Shrader of Tulsa’s Palace Café is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and known for his creativity with seasonal, Oklahoma products and West Coast influences. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to taste poetry!

Your participation in the Poets Dinner supports our programs in literary arts outreach, including writing programs in local schools, community writing workshops and craft talks with award-winning authors.
