Center for Poets and Writers at OSU-Tulsa director and editor of the American Indian Quarterly Lindsey Smith will be joined by Brettlyn Bevenue (Outreach Coordinator, Cherokee Nation Film Office) and Emmy-award winning filmaker Zach Litwack (Filmmaker in Residence, Center for Poets and Writers) to discuss Indigenous representation in movies and TV as well as Native filmmakers and the growth of the local film industry.

The Serial Set is probably the most important series of publications on all aspects of American life from 1789 through the present. Its thousands of volumes are filled with fascinating historical reports, stunning illustrations and maps, and mountains of statistics and data. Join us to learn about this treasured publication.
