Speaker Bio: Erin Pollard, ERIC Program Officer, Institute of Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education

Workshop Audience: This presentation is going to give an introduction to the free version of ERIC, eric.ed.gov. It will cover best practices for conducting searches, controlled vocabularies available to improve searching, fields unique to ERIC, and the types of material included in the database. It will also highlight how to use the API to help researchers conduct a systematic review and other less commonly known features.
