THEME: “Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow – The Dream is Forever”

Detroit Ave. & John Hope Franklin Blvd.

Students, faculty and staff are invited join us as OSU-Tulsa as we march with Pistol Pete and BOB (Big Orange Bus) in the 2019 Martin Luther King, Jr. parade on Monday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m.


Notes for parade participants

  • Anyone who plans to  participate in the 2019  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. parade on Monday, Jan. 21, please report to John Hope Franklin Blvd and North Boston no later than 10:45 a.m.  Please look for BOB (Big Orange Bus) which will be stationed already at this location. The parade will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m.

  • If you would like to arrive early,  a continental breakfast will be provided for participants in the Main Hall starting at 9:30 a.m. Access to OSU-Tulsa main entrances will close at 7:30 a.m. Please access the campus from Pine & Greenwood and park in lots A or BBOB will transport participants back to campus after our walk in the parade or you may walk back to campus.

  •  If you  purchased an MLK parade shirt or sweatshirt, it will be is available for pick-up Friday, Jan. 18 beginning at 12 p.m. in the Student Success Center, North Hall 204. We will march in harmony in our orange and black!
