Building Resilience During Disruption (Workshop)
Building Resilience During Disruption | Virtual Workshop offered by Al Carlozzi Center for Counseling at OSU-Tulsa
Did you know that stress can be good? Our brains thrive on some amount of challenge, or stress, but we often are exposed to more than is ideal. During this 90 minute workshop we will explore the role that stress plays in our life, particularly during disruptive periods. We will discuss the idea of resilience – the skill of "bouncing back" during periods of high stress. We will practice tools to help harness the brain/body connection in order to restore balance during overwhelming times. We also will spend time exploring practical ways to overcome barriers and implement life-restoring activities to create an “upward spiral” of positive activity.
This virtual workshop is FREE to attend and will be held on Wed., July 29 from 6-7:30pm on Zoom.
