As a national average, employers take between 10-15 seconds to look at an applicant's resume and skim through a cover letter looking for a few key things. How do you stand apart and stand out against the other applicants? How do you captivate an employer with your resume, cover letter, and other application materials with only 30 seconds to a minute of their attention?

During this student workshop, OSU-Tulsa Career Services Coordinator Andrew Temple will provide a comprehensive and easy format for creating and/or editing your resume and cover letter into a unified story from start to end.

During this "Spotlight" week, you will have the opportunity to participate in multiple workshops and receive career coaching—resume and cover letter review, job search assistance and more—all aligned to help in the job search process.

This week is hosted approximately six weeks prior to the end of the semester, so don't hesitate to search and apply for summer internships and full-time employment!
