This year, the focus is on food and food systems with the title, Meeting Student and Community Needs Through Sustainability. We have assembled local and regional experts who through individual and panel presentations will address challenges of achieving food sovereignty. Among the specific topics to be explored include the process and promise of urban agriculture, college and university responses to student food insecurity, and the environmental impact on food production.
