FAQ

I have Library materials checked out. Is the Library accepting returns of materials (books, etc.)?

The library is accepting returns through our outside bookdrops on the West side of Main Hall and at the North Hall entrance 24/7.

Returned items will be in quarantine for 72 hours, so your account may not immediately reflect the return – no late fees will apply to the quarantine period.

We do ask if you have been exposed to COVID-19 to hold onto the items checked-out.

Students need to be enrolled for the Fall semester to continue to keep library items.

Items can be renewed online, call us at 918-594-8130, or contact us via chat or email.

Can I  checkout a laptop or other equipment?  I need help with connecting to the internet.

The library has a variety of equipment including laptops, MacBooks, Wifi Hotspots and more available for check-out to currently enrolled students.  Laptop due dates are for an extended period of time.

To check availability and make arrangements please contact 918-594-8130 or https://tulsa.okstate.edu/library/help

Can I still get reference/research help? How do I obtain research help?

The Library will be offering virtual services and virtual research appointments.  Librarians can help you determine research topics, source relevant research and data and provide assistance in organizing your citations.

Please complete our contact form to set up an appointment - or call 918-594-8130 for research assistance over the phone.

We offer chat reference assistance and have made plans to continue this service in the event of an unscheduled closing.

Will course reserves be available?

Print course reserves will be available for students to check out in person for the Fall 2020 semester. Given the uncertainties surrounding COVID-19, it is possible that we may need to restrict access, such as implementing longer quarantine periods between uses, to course reserves as the semester progresses.
