Hands filled with cashOSU-Tulsa is offering an Emergency Aid Scholarship program to help undergraduate students stay in class when faced with unforeseen expenses they can’t afford to pay.

“This scholarship can make a real difference when the unexpected happens, particularly for students who work and have families,” said Susan Tolbart, director of recruitment and scholarships.  “We are grateful to our generous donor for providing this assistance so students with emergency expenses can continue to make progress toward their bachelor’s degree.”

This special award may be used to pay utility bills, auto repairs, child care expenses and other approved hardship costs. It cannot be granted to cover legal fees, parking tickets, or cell phone, internet or cable bills.

Applicants are required to provide documentation of the financial emergency and fill out an application to be considered for the one-time scholarship.
