Reach Higher Reconnect Degree Completion Fair helps Tulsans complete their bachelor’s degree
Tulsans who have some college credit and want to finish their bachelor’s degree can find the information and resources they need at an upcoming degree completion fair at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa. The Reach Higher Reconnect Degree Completion Fair will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 12 in North Hall 140.
The event offers guidance from transfer experts on how to make the most of existing college credits, options for paying for college and career resources to help advance careers.
“More than 160,000 people in Green Country have some college credit but no bachelor’s degree,” said Craig Freeman, interim vice provost and dean of the College of Professional Studies at OSU-Tulsa. “A bachelor’s degree not only provides you with critical skills to succeed in your industry, but also many of the ‘soft skills’ employers are looking for. If you want to advance in your career, a bachelor’s degree is crucial.”
If you are unable to attend, you can still be a part of Reconnect Week from April 10 to 14 by visiting the OSU-Tulsa Prospective Student Services offices in North Hall 130 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or scheduling an appointment with OSU-Tulsa recruiting, advising and financial aid staff.
"Completing your bachelor's degree is not only possible, but with the right scholarship resources, credit transfers and flexible class options, it may be easier than you think,” Freeman said. "Everyone's situation is unique, so come talk to us and find out how we can help."
