Reach Higher Reconnect Degree Completion Fair offers guidance in completing a bachelor’s degree

Published: Monday, March 21, 2022

An event designed to help working adults find the information and resources necessary to complete their bachelor’s degree will take place at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 3 to 6 p.m.

The Reach Higher Reconnect Degree Completion Fair offers guidance from transfer experts on how to make the most of existing college credits, options for paying and career resources to help advance careers.  Participants can attend break-out sessions with presentations on degree completion, career services and financial aid, as well check out informational booths with valuable resources and readily available staff from OSU’s admissions, advising, and financial aid offices. Dr. Ebony Johnson, Chief Learning Officer for Tulsa Public Schools, will be the featured speaker.

“We know many adults are under-employed and paying student loans for incomplete degrees; it can feel like a degree is out of reach,” said Megan Pitt, manager of recruitment at OSU-Tulsa. “But we also know that with the right scholarship resources, credit transfers and flexible class schedules, completing a degree is not only possible, but it will also increase income potential and job satisfaction. I encourage anyone considering finishing their degree come to Reach Higher Reconnect to learn how to take their education and career to the next level.”

Interested individuals can go to North Hall 130 to learn more and schedule an appointment with OSU-Tulsa recruiting, advising and financial aid staff.

The Reach Higher Reconnect Fair will be happening at the same time as The College Park Open House.
