Tulsa business CFO appointed to OSU-Tulsa Trustees

Michael Coonce, Chief Financial Officer at Titan Sports & Performance Center, has been appointed by Gov. Kevin Stitt to the Oklahoma State University-Tulsa Board of Trustees, who met for their first regularly scheduled meeting of the 2020-2021 school year on Tuesday.

Prior to his current position, Coonce worked as the Director of Preferred Provider & Proactive Outreach at GlobalHealth, Inc. in Tulsa. He also spent 14 years at Moore Capital Management in New York City where he directed investment analysis and due diligence on private equity investments, and five years at accounting firm Ernst & Young, where he began his career.

Coonce graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1997 with a Master’s Degree in Accounting.

He joins OSU-Tulsa trustees Charles Ford, Brett Lessley, Tucker Link, Dr. Trudy Milner, Pete Patel, Dr. Chad Phillips, John O'Connor and Scott Vaughn. He will serve as position 7 on the board, replacing outgoing trustee Tina Parkhill.

His term began on July 1, 2020 and is set to expire June 30, 2027.

This year’s board officers remain the same as last year’s, with Brett Lessley serving as chairman, Pete Patel as vice chairman, and John O’Connor serving as secretary.

The OSU-Tulsa Board of Trustees consists of nine members, with seven members appointed by the governor for seven-year terms and approved by the Oklahoma Senate, and two who are members of the OSU/A&M Board of Regents.
