“Back to School Bash” drive-thru event serves free school supplies to hundreds of families

OSU-Tulsa community engagement specialist Alnetta Morris, center, was the key organizer for the event.

Oklahoma State University-Tulsa helped 443 Tulsa-area families of pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students prepare for school in a “drive-thru” Back to School Bash during the first week of classes.

The line of cars at the event crowded beyond OSU-Tulsa’s Parking Lot A, spilling onto Greenwood Avenue.
