Veteran donates Purple Heart to OSU-Tulsa

U.S. Army Corporal (CPL) and Oklahoma State University-Tulsa alumnus Shannon Matthews donated his Purple Heart to OSU-Tulsa this morning in a limited in-person ceremony on campus.

Mayor proclaims Burns and Ann Hargis Day at A Stately Affair gala

Ann and Burns Hargis, along with Oklahoma State Regent for Higher Education Jay Helm, hold up an original artwork by Native American artist Ben Harjo, gifted to the Hargises at the A Stately Affair gala.

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum proclaimed June 24 as Burns and Ann Hargis Day in honor of Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis and First Cowgirl Ann Hargis.

Roger Hardesty Foundation supplies new technology for aviation students

Aerospace administration and operations students at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa have access to two new high-performance laptops thanks to the Roger Hardesty Aviation Collection. A Dell Latitude 5500 laptop and a MacBook Pro were purchased by the fund specifically for aviation students to use.

Conversations Fostered Through New Endowment in Trailblazer’s Honor

A new endowment in honor of Dr. William Pinar, an internationally leading curriculum scholar, will foster conversations at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa and Stillwater around the role of curriculum studies in education.

Oklahoma State University-Tulsa and OSU Center for Health Sciences are hosting their fifth biennial fundraiser ‘A Stately Affair in Tulsa’ on May 16 at the Cox Business Center.

This year, the gala marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of Oklahoma State University-Tulsa and the 30th anniversary of OSU Center for Health Sciences joining the OSU system.
