Blue

Blue

Hello! My name is Blue and I am a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd. You will know me by my soft fur and two different colored eyes – one blue and one brown!  I was born in Porter, Oklahoma where I lived on a farm, but I was given away because I wouldn’t stop chasing horses. My next owners had cattle and tried to train me to become a working cattle dog, but I didn’t really like that. I would much rather jump into your lap rather than jump into a truck to go herd cows!

That is how my current owner and parent, Jessica Bradley, adopted me! I love my mom so much because I follow her around and she gives me all the attention and love I want! She sometimes will call me her “shadow” or “Velcro” because I never leave her side when we are together.

Some of my favorite things to do are eating, going on walks, napping, cuddling, and getting belly rubs. I will also wiggle all over when I get excited, especially when I get to play with a squeaky toy! I am looking forward to being in Pete’s Pet Posse in Tulsa to bring a smile to your face, give you a high-five, and hopefully I will get a belly rub in return!

I received my Canine Good Citizen certification in June 2016, and I have been a registered therapy dog with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Inc. since July 2016. You can find me hanging out with my mom in the OSU-Tulsa Career Services department in North Hall 130.
