My name is Caia Ballad, and I am an “All-American dog” who was born in May 2011. You will know me by my soft ears, kind eyes and sweet face. My DNA test says I am part Labrador retriever, Dalmatian, Boxer, German Shorthaired Pointer and a bunch of other things, but I know I am 100% adorable!
I was adopted from the TSPCA in 2013 because my former owners abandoned me. Can you believe it? Now I spend my days laying around on the couch, chasing squirrels and chewing on my favorite Nylabone. I also like to do tricks, especially for food. Nothing gets me as excited as a yummy treat!
I am definitely a “people dog.” I love to make new friends, be petted and have my belly rubbed, which is why I’m thrilled about my new job as a Pete’s Pet Posse Tulsa therapy dog. I’m looking forward to making lots of new friends at OSU-Tulsa and OSU-CHS! (Just make sure to hide your snacks when I’m around!)
I received my Canine Good Citizen certification in March 2018 and will be registered with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs in April 2018. When I’m not out and about, you may find me in Main Hall at OSU-Tulsa, hanging out in Marketing and Communications Services.
