Timely warning issued by OSU-Tulsa Police
 
Situation: Armed robbery and carjacking reported in Lot D
 
OSU-Tulsa Police have been alerted to a reported armed robbery and carjacking that occurred on Thursday, May 23 at approximately 10:30 p.m. on the west side of Lot D. The alleged victim reported that he was sitting in his car and was approached by the suspect, who showed a gun and forced him to drive to several locations and withdraw money. The victim was then dropped off unharmed and the suspect left with the victim’s vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20s with a slim build, short afro hairstyle and goatee. He was wearing a gray hoodie and black shorts. The victim’s vehicle, which has not been recovered at this time, is described as a navy blue 2004 Ford F150 pickup with Cherokee Nation tags and Texas Rangers and OSU Alumni decals.

The Tulsa Police Department was contacted about the incident and OSU-Tulsa Police are working with TPD to investigate. OSU-Tulsa Police plans to increase its presence in the parking lots.

OSU-Tulsa Police reminds everyone on campus to always be aware of your surroundings, park in well-lit areas near buildings, lock your vehicle while parked on campus and report suspicious individuals, activity and situations to OSU-Tulsa Police.
