You can also call the Advising Center at 918-594-8271 to schedule an appointment. Advising appointments are available in-office or over the phone. Graduate students meet with their designated faculty advisor and should contact their program coordinator for information.

Required Forms

Current OSU-Tulsa students are required to fill out an Academic Plan prior to advising appointments in order to better prepare them to discuss their enrollment.

Prospective OSU-Tulsa students can download and fill out the Prep Plan to give a starting point for discussing transfer and enrollment.

Tips for Your Advising Appointment

Current OSU Students

  • If you are scheduling an appointment to enroll for next semester, refer to the online enrollment schedule for your enrollment date, which is based on total earned hours. You are eligible to come in one week prior to that date.
  • Look at your degree audit in DegreeWorks and come prepared with any questions.
  • For appointments regarding issues other than enrolling (such as changing your major, adding a minor, etc.), you may schedule an appointment any time. Please notify the front desk if you are changing your major, as you need to meet with your new advisor.
  • Add/Drop cards do not require an advising appointment unless you wish to speak to your advisor first. Be aware of Add/Drop deadlines by visiting the Academic Calendar.
  • If you need special accommodations during your appointment, please explain when scheduling your appointment.
  • If you would like to make a phone appointment, request that when scheduling your appointment.
  • Please cancel or reschedule your appointment in STAR if you are going to be late.
  • Arrive early to your advising appointment and bring your orange advising folder and completed Academic Plan.
