Schedule an Advising AppointmentYou can also call the Advising Center at 918-594-8271 to schedule an appointment. Advising appointments are available in-office or by Zoom. Graduate students meet with their designated faculty advisor and should contact their program coordinator for information.
Current Undergraduate Students
Schedule an advising appointment in the advising tab after logging into the Slate system. OSU-Tulsa students must meet with their advisor once each semester.
Prospective Students
Request an advising appointment to discuss your transfer plans and explore how the classes you are taking at your current school apply to your OSU bachelor's degree. You can meet with an OSU-Tulsa advisor as early as you wish. It is never too early to discuss your bachelor's degree plans.
Readmission Students
If you were an OSU student for the previous semester and want to apply for readmission, contact Enrollment Services at 918-594-8020 or visit the Enrollment Services office in North Hall 357 to determine if you need to reapply.
Tips for your advising appointment
- Current Students

If you are scheduling an appointment to enroll for next semester, refer to the online enrollment schedule for your enrollment date, which is based on total earned hours. You are eligible to come in one week prior to that date.

Look at your degree audit in DegreeWorks and come prepared with any questions and a potential plan for your semester.

For appointments regarding issues other than enrolling (such as changing your major, adding a minor, etc.), you may schedule an appointment any time.

Please notify the front desk if you are changing your major, as you need to meet with your new advisor.

Add/Drop cards do not require an advising appointment unless you wish to speak to your advisor first. Be aware of Add/Drop deadlines by visiting the Academic Calendar.

Arrive early to your advising appointment and bring a completed Prep Plan form. Bring copies of transcripts from every institution you have attended.
