Transferring to OSU-Tulsa: What You Need To Know

All OSU-Tulsa undergraduate students are transfer students. You can transfer to OSU-Tulsa near completion of your freshman and sophomore level requirements or after completing an associate degree.

If you're interested in transferring to OSU-Tulsa or OSU in Stillwater, it's a good idea to make an advising appointment as soon as possible to learn how the college classes you have already taken will transfer and make sure any classes you will take at another institution will transfer to OSU.

Academic Requirements to Transfer

7-23 hours 2.25 GPA and meet freshman requirements Stillwater
24-59 hours 2.25 GPA Tulsa or Stillwater  (Tulsa campus offers only junior- and senior-level courses.)
60+ hours or Associate Degree 2.0 GPA Tulsa or Stillwater

Transfer Maps

OSU-Tulsa Transfer Maps help your take the right courses at your two-year college for the right OSU bachelor's degree program to reach your professional goals. Transfer maps go beyond transfer agreements to provide career information, details about the degree program and graduate program options.

What that means: If you follow the course plan outlined on the Transfer Map and verified by your OSU-Tulsa academic counselor, your credits will transfer toward the specified OSU degree, in Tulsa or Stillwater.

Advising

The OSU-Tulsa Advisement Center assists all current and prospective students. You should make an appointment with an OSU-Tulsa academic advisor as early as your freshman year of college. Meeting with an advisor early on will ensure that you enroll in courses at other schools that transfer into the OSU degree you are ultimately interested in pursuing.
