The ASPIRE Framework

In fall of 2019, OSU-Tulsa President Pamela Fry introduced six primary initiatives for OSU-Tulsa known as the A-S-P-I-R-E framework:  Access to degrees, Service to the community, Premier Programs and facilities, Innovation, Research, and Economic Development. ASPIRE outlines OSU-Tulsa's priorities as Tulsa's metropolitan, urban-serving comprehensive university. 

Access

Build pathways to high-quality bachelor’s and graduate degrees that demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Service

Collaborate with local partners to connect programs and initiatives to the needs of the Tulsa-area community and beyond.

Programs

Develop premier academic programs that provide relevant, transformational learning.

Innovation

Serve as a creative partner, an innovation driver and a recognized contributor to Tulsa’s progress as a leading metropolitan area.

Research

Advance knowledge across disciplines to benefit society, emphasizing practical applications and translational research.

Economic Development

Leverage resources to create economic opportunities through education and research.
