Access to Education

Pre-Collegiate Conferences

High school students receive the critical resources they and their families need to make informed decisions about college in a structured, facilitated conference atmosphere at OSU-Tulsa's downtown campus.

STEM Camps

Students in grades K-12 get hands-on with science, technology, math and engineering at different camps offered throughout the year.

Talking is Teaching

Families with children ages birth through eight come to campus each month to talk, read, sing and play together.

'Stache of Books Community Library

A former newspaper box now painted bright orange and full of free books for local children to take and read. Book donations are always welcome.

Bringing the Community and Campus Together

Food Trucks and Pete's Pop-Up Kitchen

We support local businesses by inviting food trucks and restaurants to campus for pop-up days, offering everyone a chance to try something new.

Community Back to School Bash

Each summer we help our community children go back to school in style with school supply giveaways, resource booths, food, entertainment and fun.

Community Youth Explosion

Students from throughout Tulsa perform song, dance and spoken word for the community in honor of Black History Month

Money Matters Workshops

OSU-Tulsa hosts financial literacy workshops for elementary students, teens and adults at no cost each year in April. Topics include basic money principles, the importance of credit and more.

Bringing the Campus to the Community

Office of Community Engagement staff lead OSU-Tulsa students, faculty and staff in service initiatives and outreach year-round.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade

OSU-Tulsa is a sponsor of the annual parade, which travels through campus.

Volunteer Service

Cowboys have a passion to do what's right, even when it's hard. OSU-Tulsa's staff, students and faculty live this part of the Cowboy Code through service to our community at local schools and agencies.
