Founded with the mission to educate and train physicians to serve in rural and underserved areas, OSU Center for Health Sciences is an innovative leader with a vision for improving the health of everyday Oklahomans.

OSU Academic Medical District

In collaboration with partners, the OSU Academic Medical District will include the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center and Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center, across the street from the OSU Medical Center.

OSU Medicine Clinics

OSU Medicine operates 27 clinics in the Tulsa area offering specialty services including family medicine, biomedical imaging, cardiology, pediatrics, psychiatry, women’s health and more.

OSU Medical Center

As one of the nation’s largest osteopathic teaching facilities, from specialized orthopedics to emergency medicine to expert surgical care, OSUMC’s mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate health care to patients and families. Residency and fellowship programs train more than 280 residents in primary care and subspecialties.

Caring for
Orange Country

From training future physicians to caring for the entire family, OSU brings a bold vision and depth of medical expertise to Orange Country. Our expanding network of 27 clinics along with ongoing improvements at OSU Medical Center downtown continue to give northeastern Oklahoma the care our communities deserve. And in 2025 the OSU Academic Medical District will expand our services through the new veterans hospital and the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center.

Improving lives through research

Through research, our Tulsa campuses are finding solutions to society’s most pressing needs. Research centers focus on a variety of needs, including combating health disparities, cultivating health and wellness with Indigenous communities, improving the lives of families, creating materials to support new industries, and neuroscience and addiction research.
