Tulsa’s career-ready workforce is rooted in orange. Through multidisciplinary, advanced
technology programs in Tulsa and Okmulgee, OSU is preparing employees for hands-on
STEM careers of the future in industries including fiber optics, energy, unmanned
aerial vehicles, manufacturing and information technology. We’ve been the state’s
undisputed polytech leader for nearly eight decades working with employers to help
today’s future high tech workforce be ready for tomorrow.
OSU Polytech
OSU Polytech offers advanced technology degree and certificate programs, including
those offered by the OSU Institute of Technology in Okmulgee and Tulsa. OSUIT equips
students with the practical skills and knowledge required to succeed in today's competitive
job market, with 90% of students securing a job before they graduate. Through working
with industry leaders, aligning curriculum to the latest industry job trends, including
real-world experiences and providing flexible learning opportunities, OSU Polytech
embodies OSU’s land-grant mission of education, research and outreach.
Advancing our workforce
The College of Professional Studies, housed at OSU-Tulsa’s downtown campus, provides
opportunities for working adults to advance in their careers while staying in the
workforce. Flexible classes are available online or hybrid, with varying start dates,
and allow individuals to pursue education while balancing work, family and other commitments.
Degree and non-credit professional development programs are tailored to provide career-ready
experience for aspiring leaders in industries including health care, manufacturing,
finance and public service.

As a leader in applied technology education, OSUIT offers courses in both Tulsa and
Okmulgee and boasts world-class facilities, industry partnerships and a nearly 90%
career placement rate.
