OSU-Tulsa’s Student Research Day celebrates the research and creative achievements of our undergraduate and graduate students across disciplines. The event provides a professional setting to showcase student work, practice presentation skills, and connect with faculty, peers, and community members.

Student Research Day will feature poster presentations. Each poster should summarize the student’s research or creative activity.

Submission Details and Guidelines

Presentations may contain original research or scholarship that you may be conducting, work that you already submitted for previous semester or classroom project and/or work in progress for the current semester.

This is also an opportunity to present research proposals or scholarship for which you are contemplating an in-depth study. Research does not have to be experimentally based. All topics are all welcome!

Eligibility

  • All current OSU-Tulsa undergraduate and graduate students are welcome.

  • Faculty mentorship is strongly encouraged but not required.

Abstracts

  • Maximum length: 250 words.

  • Suggested sections: background, methods, results, conclusion (where applicable).

  • Must be submitted online by Oct. 24.

Posters

  • Size: 36” x 48” (landscape or portrait).

  • Format: PDF or PowerPoint.

  • Use large, clear fonts (minimum 24 pt for body text).

  • Include the OSU logo and your department or program logo.

Submission Process

  • Complete the online form.

  • Provide project title, student name(s), department/major, and faculty mentor details.

  • Paste abstract text into the submission form.

  • Poster files will be due separately by November 7, 2025 for printing by the library.
