This was the third year for the annual award ceremony — and the biggest one yet — with new award categories and more competition than ever, showcasing the growth and impact of student leadership on the OSU-Tulsa campus.

Award Categories

  • Campus Engagement Award

    Campus Engagement Award honors the organization that has demonstrated strong visibility and involvement on campus. This group actively participates in campus life, promotes engagement and encourages others to get involved.

  • Outstanding Community Engagement

    Outstanding Community Engagement celebrates an organization that has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving the broader Tulsa community. This group extends its impact beyond the OSU-Tulsa campus through meaningful service, partnerships or outreach.

  • New Student Organization of the Year Award

    New Student Organization of the Year Award recognizes a newly established student organization that has shown early initiative, engagement and potential for long-term impact on campus.

  • Student Organization of the Year Award

    Student Organization of the Year Award recognizes a student organization that has made an outstanding impact on campus by enhancing the social environment, furthering its mission and goals and creating a strong sense of community among students. This organization demonstrates excellence through meaningful programming, leadership and opportunities that support its members' educational and personal development.

  • Outstanding Leader Award

    Outstanding Leader Award recognizes a student for exceptional leadership and impact on the university. This student's guidance, initiative and support have helped advance their organization's mission and set a lasting example for future members. Nominees must meet these requirements:

    • Currently enrolled student
    • Currently GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Appropriate conduct standing
    • Hold an officer position in organization

    Graduating seniors will be recognized at the OSU-Tulsa graduation ceremony.

  • Unsung Hero Award

    Unsung Hero Award recognizes an organization member who has made a meaningful impact without holding an officer position. This individual supports their organization and fellow members behind the scenes with positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.

  • Advisor of the Year Award

    Advisor of the Year Award recognizes a faculty or staff advisor who has provided exceptional leadership, guidance and dedication to their student organization. Through their time, mentorship and expertise, they support the organization's goals and contribute to the success and development of student members.
