Monday, November 24, 2025
Tulsa-area families are invited to participate in free STEM demonstrations and fun activities at the “Deck the Halls with STEM” event on Dec. 2 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the newly renovated Oklahoma State University-Tulsa Main Hall Commons.
Guests will experience a wide variety of fun and festive science, technology, engineering and mathematics activities and demonstrations that let participants dive headfirst into the world of STEM. Past participants have built their own solar ovens, rubber band and balloon powered vehicles, lava lamps and lip gloss.
Robotics, snap circuits, aerospace and architecture activities will also be featured at the event. Demonstrations and activities will run throughout the event, with no scheduled times for each.
This is the third year for the "Deck the Halls with STEM" event, which started as a of series of “Engineering is Everywhere” STEM events hosted by the The OSU College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT). The event is intended to spark curiosity in STEM fields for K-12 students.
In addition to OSU-Tulsa and CEAT, event sponsors include Google and NASA.
