Students seeking guidance on their career paths have a new resource at OSU-Tulsa. As the Career Services Coordinator, Natasha Coffelt is committed to empowering students with the insights and connections they need to navigate their professional journeys. Whether exploring job options or aiming to advance in a current position, she is ready to provide practical advice and unwavering support. With seven years of experience as a school counselor and robust relationships with local business leaders, Coffelt is passionate about impacting students' lives.
“Celebrating student success is what I love,” she said. “When a student finds the 'right’ job. It’s a win for both of us!”
When students schedule an appointment with Natasha, they can expect a professional yet relaxed session that’s tailored to their needs, whether it's resume review, interview practice or job search connections. For those who are already employed with no intention to leave, she can help with networking strategies or planning for career advancement.
Her top tip for students? Start building your network now. “Networking is key to long-term success,” she said. She encourages students to spend 10 minutes a week on LinkedIn posting or connecting with others. “By the time you graduate, you’ll have a strong professional presence.”
