Environmental Science Graduate Certificate in Tulsa

This graduate certificate program fulfills three federally mandated requirements for students looking to advance their career or transition into the environmental health and safety field while providing a recognized graduate credential from a research university. There is no entrance exam required, and the graduate certificate is federal financial aid eligible.

The OSU-Tulsa Difference

This graduate certificate is the only one of its kind in Oklahoma. It incorporates certification requirements from three federal agencies:

  • U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
  • U.S. Occupational, Safety & Health Administration (OSHA)
  • U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)

OSU is the only university in the State of Oklahoma that offers all of these certifications for graduate credit, and this program is currently only available at OSU-Tulsa. Each course is designed to also meet and fulfill federal and state environmental, safety and transportation regulations.

The graduate certificate also counts 100% toward the Professional Science Master's in Environmental Science Management.

Our program's strong connections with local industry ensure that your learning experience goes beyond the classroom, offering chances for hands-on engagement, internships and practical projects. Immerse yourself in the captivating history and vibrant culture of the Greenwood District while honing practical skills and building crucial networks that will drive your career forward.
