Study Room Policy

Reserve a Study Room

  • Group study rooms are limited to OSU faculty, staff and students and affiliated authorized users.
  • Rooms are intended for groups or individuals to work on projects. Priority is given to groups over individual users. Rooms are intended for official academic work. Please refrain from sleeping, eating or general social activities in the room.
  • Reservations can be made online or call 918-594-8130 and are limited to 4 hours per group, per day. Extension past the 4 hours is determined by Library staff based on need of the Library.
  • If a group or person is occupying a room without a reservation, or at their time limit when another reservation time starts, that person/group will need to vacate the room.
  • Reservations are held for up to 20 minutes after scheduled time. If the group does not show, the room is forfeited for the entire time scheduled.
  • Contact the Library's check-out desk for whiteboard supplies or any assistance with the equipment.
  • Group Study Room users may not alter settings or hardware in the rooms. Please seek assistance for technical difficulties.
  • Personal effects from any room that has been vacated for more than 20 minutes, or during another reserved time, or at closing, will be taken to Campus Police, Main Hall 1401.
  • Since the study rooms are not soundproof, please keep the noise level low as a courtesy to others.
  • Use of tobacco, vaping or marijuana products is completely prohibited and could result in removal and bans from using the rooms in the future.
  • Please leave the room clean and erase the marker board before leaving. Report any spills or cleanliness issues with the room.
  • This policy cannot cover every potential situation that arises, it is our hope that a spirit of cooperation, ethical/fair use and respect will be applied when the policy does not address each issue.
